Puranas are compilation
of very old religious stories. There are
18 puranas. They are called ashtadasa puranas. See how enumerated figures of

is done for such books of stories, how deeply our Indians used to analyse statistics.
We used to see maths in poetry, philosophy, prayers everywhere. Have we lost all
